Call Before You Dig!

To avoid costly repair expenses, call GSWSA’s “Locate Department” at (843) 443-8324 prior to any excavation work. There may be underground utilities in the location where you want to dig whether it be for landscaping or upgrading your property. The South Carolina Underground Utility Damage Prevention Act requires persons to ascertain the location of underground utilities prior to excavation work. This Act also requires a 72-hour notice to utilities for any locate request. So please, CALL BEFORE YOU DIG!
