Sewer Backups

If you experience a sewer backup, please contact Customer Service at (843) 443-8202 or (843) 443-8200 after hours.  Sewer backups may result from problems in the customer’s line or in the utility’s line.

GSWSA personnel are available 24/7 to investigate sewer backups and either advise the customer if it is a problem which occured outside of GSWSA's responsibility, or provide corrective action if the problem is within GSWSA’s responsibility.  There is no charge to the customer for this service.
